This flexible model allows TWF to operate a TWLC within a school or community center; to partner with an existing organization to provide unique curriculum; to provide staff training and mentoring; and/or incorporate technology stations on campus. The TWLC - DC campuses mark the first expansion of the Tiger Woods Learning Center, joining the flagship facility in Anaheim, Calif. The TWLCs provide hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering and math coupled with college-prep workshops to create a unique environment focused on college and careers. The two TWLC-DC campuses are located at the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School (TWLC-Capitol Hill Campus) in Ward 6, and the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School (TWLC-Parkside Campus) in Ward 7. The TWLC -DC spaces and curriculum reflect the same educational philosophy and curriculum used at the Anaheim facility with an emphasis on tailoring program offerings to the young people in the local community. This model also provides students in multiple wards access to the TWLC's innovative programs and the latest technology. Students attending the TWLC-DC campuses experience a technology-rich, innovative and highly motivated environment that has been integral to the success of the Anaheim location. At the TWLC - Capitol Hill Campus, students in grades 9-12 can choose from 10 exciting career options. Thematic classes include Communications, Engineering, Video and Film Production, Robotics, Oceanography and Alternative energy. Featuring 24 workstations, the campus is equipped with the latest technology and provides the student body with seven-week sessions and classes that are integrated into the Cesar Chavez curriculum. On the weekend, this campus offers the Digital technology lab, a workshop series open to students throughout Washington, D.C., in grades 6-12. The TWLC - Parkside campus serves students with classes in Communications, Engineering, Video and Film Production, Robotics, Oceanography and alternative energy. These 14-week sessions serve students in grades 7-12. Since opening in October, the TWLC-DC campuses have provided exceptional educational experiences to the hundreds of students attending these two Cesar Chavez Public Charter schools. Since announcing its intention to build a Learning Center in D.C., the Foundation funded several multi-year studies and researched numerous locations to determine the most beneficial model for the D.C. community. During this research phase, the Foundation evaluated the effectiveness and viability of the campus model, in which the TWLC operates from a space within an existing school or community center. About the Tiger Woods Learning Center in Anaheim, Calif.: In February 2006, the Tiger Woods Foundation opened the first Learning Center in Orange County, Calif., which to date has served more than 45,000 young people through its innovative educational programs. Sample classes include forensic science, aerospace, engineering, robotics, biotechnology, video production and graphic design.","expense":130625,"grants":0,"revenue":0}],"functional_expense_allocations":{"current_officers_directors":{"total":0},"disqualified_persons":{"total":0},"other_salaries_and_wages":{"program_services":32467,"total":32467},"pension_plan_contributions":{"program_services":400,"total":400},"other_employee_benefits":{"program_services":547,"total":547},"payroll_taxes":{"program_services":3579,"total":3579},"management_fees":{"total":0},"legal_fees":{"program_services":20818,"total":20818},"accounting_fees":{"program_services":301,"management_and_general":24080,"total":24381},"lobbying_fees":{"total":0},"professional_fundraising_fees":{"total":0},"investment_management_fees":{"management_and_general":242,"total":242},"other_service_fees":{"program_services":32818,"management_and_general":915,"total":33733},"advertising":{"total":0},"office_expenses":{"management_and_general":2492,"total":2492},"information_technology":{"management_and_general":2426,"total":2426},"royalties":{"total":0},"occupancy":{"total":0},"travel":{"program_services":32175,"management_and_general":8485,"total":40660},"conferences_meetings":{"total":0},"interest":{"total":0},"payments_to_affiliates":{"total":0},"depreciation_depletion":{"total":0},"insurance":{"program_services":7520,"total":7520}},"tax_and_disclosure_flags":{"activities_conducted_through_partnership":false,"foreign_financial_account":false,"backup_withholding_compliance":true,"lobbying_activities":false,"deductible_non_cash_contributions":false,"deductible_contributions_of_art":false,"method_of_accounting_accrual":true},"principal_officer_detail":{"person_name":"GREGORY T MCLAUGHLIN","address_line1":"121 INNOVATION DRIVE SUITE 150","city":"IRVINE","state":"CA","zip":"92617"},"audit_financial_statement_detail":{"accountant_compile_or_review":false,"audited_financial_statement_consolidated":true,"federal_grant_audit_required":false},"related_party_due_diligence":{"officer_entity_with_business_relationship":false,"officer_mailing_address":false,"related_entity":true,"related_org_controlled_entity":false,"compensation_from_other_sources":false,"excess_benefit_transaction":false,"annual_disclosure_covered_persons":true},"grant_due_diligence":{"grants_to_organizations":false,"grants_to_individuals":false,"more_than_5000_to_organizations":false,"more_than_5000_to_individuals":false},"books_are_in_care_of":{"person_name":"GREGORY T MCLAUGHLIN","phone":"9497253003","address_line1":"121 INNOVATION DRIVE SUITE 150","city":"IRVINE","state":"CA","zip":"92617"},"officers_directors_key_employees":[{"title":"PRESIDENT & CEO","average_hours_per_week":1.0,"reportable_comp_from_org":0,"reportable_comp_from_related_orgs":530274,"other_compensation":37159,"individual_trustee_or_director":true,"officer":true},{"title":"DIRECTOR","average_hours_per_week":1.0,"reportable_comp_from_org":0,"reportable_comp_from_related_orgs":0,"other_compensation":0,"individual_trustee_or_director":true},{"title":"Assistant Secretary","average_hours_per_week":1.0,"reportable_comp_from_org":0,"reportable_comp_from_related_orgs":70849,"other_compensation":11313,"officer":true},{"title":"TREASURER","average_hours_per_week":1.0,"reportable_comp_from_org":0,"reportable_comp_from_related_orgs":141445,"other_compensation":25631,"officer":true},{"title":"EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR","average_hours_per_week":15.0,"reportable_comp_from_org":0,"reportable_comp_from_related_orgs":160241,"other_compensation":10923,"key_employee":true}]},"ScheduleA":{"public_charity_status":{"school_170b1_aii":true}},"ScheduleB":{"attached":true,"required":true},"ScheduleD":{"land_buildings_equipment":{"buildings":{"other_cost_or_other_basis":0,"book_value":0,"depreciation":0},"leasehold_improvements":{"other_cost_or_other_basis":369461,"book_value":369461,"depreciation":0},"equipment":{"other_cost_or_other_basis":71658,"book_value":71658,"depreciation":0},"other_land_buildings":{"other_cost_or_other_basis":3497,"book_value":3497},"total_book_value":444616},"net_assets_reconciliation":{"total_revenue":563353,"total_expenses":169265,"excess_or_deficit_for_year":394088,"net_unrealized_gains_losses_on_investments":33190,"total_adjustments":33190,"excess_or_deficit_per_financial_statements":427278},"revenue_reconciliation":{"total_revenue_audited_financial_statements":596543,"net_unrealized_gains_investments":33190,"revenue_not_reported":33190,"revenue_subtotal":563353,"total_revenue_per_990":563353},"expense_reconciliation":{"total_expenses_audited_financial_statements":169265,"expenses_subtotal":169265,"total_expenses_per_990":169265},"supplemental_information":[{"identifier":"Part X, Line 2","explanation":"The Foundation adopted the provisions of Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) Topic 740, Income Taxes.
