Most animals that Big Hearts rescues are in dire need of medical attention and extensive rehabilitation. But what we have found in these cases is that some tender loving care, good medical treatment, and in time these animals find hope and begin to heal again. No matter what their age, all of our fosters show a strong will to bond with a forever family. All of our fosters are cared for by volunteer families. This helps in their rehabilitation and they learn to be in a loving home environment. Most are in foster homes with other animals and children so they are generally well rounded to the average home.
