bay. The goal of nbis is to bring together investors and entrepreneurs looking for exposure and funding. More than $25m has been raised by companies after presenting at previous summits. This event is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to meet potential investors.the 2015 nbis featured ten (10) high-quality investment opportunities in innovation-based companies from the north bay and greater bay area. Two members from each company pitched to the audience of approximately 80. Investors interested in a particular company were then introduced to the company for individual private follow up.the north bay innovation summit is held the same day. It is an early-stage and start-up company pitch competition. Judges select three companies from each of the four categories to give a 10 minute pitch. The company selected as top innovator receives $6,000. Companies must be no more than 5 years old with no more than 10 full-time employees.
