Students.","primary_activities":"Expanded Learning Time (ELT)NJA3 has adapted its evidence-based program model to align more closely with the needs and priorites of its partner schools. NJA3's ELT Program Model targets the State's lowest performing schools, operates for three hours per day and offers a blend of academic & enrichment activities. NJA3 worked with 13 Newark Public Schools (NPS) to research & develop the NJA3 ELT program model and to implement the programming in 5 Newark Public schools. NJA3 staff worked with several additional school districts throughout the state to develop their ELT programs.\n\nNJA3 currently operates an AmeriCorps program that places 21 AmeriCorps Service members across the State to integrate service learning into NJ After 3's afterschool programming. In addition to Service Members NJA3 also operates an AmeriCorps VISTA member program; 4 VISTA Members work with NJA3 to assist in the development and implementaton of high-quality content for NJA3 afterschool partners. The Four members work on curriculum and develop programs and materials designed to promote positive youth development.\n\nMy Very Own Library (MVOL) Newark Public School System.
